I'm a writer, researcher, and advocate in the area of toxic relationships and narcissistic abuse. I'm passionate about empowering people who have been in psychologically and emotionally abusive relationships and about raising awareness about hidden abuse, and have a blog, Fairy Tale Shadows, with the mission of doing both of these things. I have a Ph.D. in Sociology, with a research background in gender, sexuality and sexual assault and have written articles for a variety of audiences on all of these topics.
